Modern Family icon Eric Stonestreet recently weighed in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s relationship—including their potential wedding.
On July 11, the sitcom star, 53, who was born in Kansas City and is a fan of the Chiefs, spoke with Page Six at the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection.

“Travis is awesome,” Stonestreet told the outlet. “I’ve known Travis for a long time, and I was so happy for him when they started dating because I know him.”
Additionally, he said Swift “deserves a great guy,” pointing out that the Chiefs tight end is a “great guy.”
When Stonestreet was asked if there was a chance he could be invited to Swift and Kelce’s wedding, he replied, “Oh my God, I don’t know about that.”
“I love both of them very much,” he explained. “It would obviously be amazing if that happened, but I wouldn’t want to go if it wasn’t the right thing. I wouldn’t want to force my way in there.”
Since the pop superstar and NFL player started dating during the summer of 2023, plenty of celebrities have weighed in on their relationship and Swift’s impact on the sport.
Retired NFL star and current GMA co-host Michael Strahan recently made a bold declaration about the couple. First lady Melania Trump also shared her surprising opinion about Swift. Even King Charles sent an unmistakable message about the “Shake It Off” songstress. Not to mention, country singer Eric Church made a shocking confession about Swift.
Although engagement rumors and even secret wedding speculation have swirled in recent months, neither Swift nor Kelce have publicly spoken about marriage.
