The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of the Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa in Maharashtra. This coastal resort marks IHCL’s first venture into Alibaug, a popular leisure destination for Mumbai residents.

Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa is a luxury establishment surrounded by lush landscapes and swaying palm trees. The resort features 156 rooms, suites, and villas designed with natural textures and soft hues, aligning with Alibaug’s coastal charm. The resort’s architecture combines contemporary elegance with earthy elements, extending seamlessly into courtyards and gardens.

The resort’s culinary offerings include three distinct dining venues: Aparanta, an all-day restaurant; Konkan Café, which showcases the region’s culinary heritage; and 24 Alive, a bar serving handcrafted cocktails.

The resort also offers J Wellness Circle, a holistic spa that blends traditional Indian healing methods with modern therapies. Additionally, the resort boasts multiple indoor and outdoor venues suitable for social events and large gatherings. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and a children’s activity area.

Alibaug, accessible by a short drive or ferry ride from Mumbai, is renowned for its pristine beaches, picturesque scenery, and historical sites. The opening of Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa is expected to bolster IHCL’s presence further in Maharashtra, particularly among Mumbai’s leisure circuit.
