The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s leading hospitality company, is set to expand its operations by establishing a Gateway and a Ginger hotel in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced its plan to establish a Gateway and a Ginger hotel in Ludhiana. These projects, part of a broader mixed-use development, represent IHCL’s strategic growth plan in emerging markets.

Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, commented on the development. She attributed Ludhiana’s inclusion in the Smart City Mission as a significant factor in the city’s infrastructure growth, which has led to an upsurge in business travel and tourism. IHCL’s new hotels are a direct response to this growth. The company collaborates with Hampton Sky Realty Ltd. on these projects, contributing to Ludhiana’s ongoing urban development.

The Gateway Hotel in Ludhiana, with 110 rooms, will reflect the city’s spirit and offer immersive experiences for its guests. The hotel will feature numerous amenities such as an all-day diner, a bar, a gym, a swimming pool, and a 5,000 sq. ft. ballroom for events and gatherings.

On the other hand, the 100-room Ginger Hotel will feature the brand’s signature all-day dining, Qmin, a bar, a modern gym, and a 1,000 sq. ft. banquet hall. These facilities, combined with its location, make the Ginger Hotel an ideal venue for both social and business events.

Hampton Sky Realty Ltd. expressed their pleasure in collaborating with IHCL, foreseeing these hotels as pivotal landmarks in Ludhiana and contributing to Punjab’s global showcase.

Ludhiana, one of Punjab’s primary economic hubs, is renowned for its blend of tradition and modernity. As a city known for its manufacturing and export industries, Ludhiana promises diverse experiences for every visitor.

With the addition of these hotels, IHCL will have five hotels in Punjab, including four that are under development. This expansion underscores IHCL’s commitment to growing its footprint in India’s emerging markets and contributing to its hospitality sector.
