The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the opening of La Estoria, Goa – IHCL SeleQtions in the coastal village of Candolim. The hotel combines Goan-Portuguese design with modern elegance, offering a unique experience for visitors.

IHCL CEO Puneet Chhatwal expressed his excitement about the launch, citing the increasing demand for experiential travel and the growth in Goa’s tourism landscape. With this addition, IHCL continues to extend its reach in Goa, where it has been present for over five decades.

La Estoria is near Candolim Beach and has 122 rooms, each with a private balcony. The hotel’s architecture integrates elements of Goa’s rich cultural heritage.

The hotel’s amenities include Trattoria, a restaurant known for authentic Italian cuisine, and the Canterbury Bar, which boasts a distinctive old-Goan charm. Additionally, guests can access a gym, an open swimming pool, and a spa.

Ankur Gairola, General Manager of La Estoria, Goa – IHCL SeleQtions, emphasized the hotel’s reflection of Goan-Portuguese charm and the promise of a warm welcome to all guests.

Candolim, situated on India’s western coast, is known for its relaxed atmosphere and is a preferred destination for travelers seeking a mix of adventure, relaxation, and culture. With the opening of La Estoria, IHCL now operates 16 hotels in Goa, with 4 more currently under development.
