The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has opened Hari Ganga Niwas, its second SeleQtions hotel in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Hari Ganga Niwas, a new SeleQtions hotel in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. This marks the second SeleQtions property in the city, following the Pilibhit House. The new hotel is situated on the banks of the Ganges River and boasts 15 rooms, each offering a stunning view of the river.

The hotel is a restored heritage retreat, originally established in 1913. It includes an all-day vegetarian restaurant named Ghar Se, which focuses on local ingredients. The property also provides guests with experiences such as guided heritage walks in Haridwar and access to the Ganga Aarti at a private ghat.

Hari Ganga Niwas is IHCL’s sixth collaboration with the Prasad Group. With this addition, IHCL now operates 34 hotels in Uttarakhand, with 21 more under development. The new hotel aims to cater to visitors interested in the spiritual and cultural aspects of Haridwar, a city renowned for its religious significance and events such as the Kumbh Mela.
