Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Tree of Life resort in Panheli, Raigad, Maharashtra, marking it as a conversion project.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed an agreement to open a Tree of Life resort in Panheli, Raigad, Maharashtra. The project is a conversion and will feature 28 guest rooms and suites. The resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant and bar, a 5,000-square-foot banqueting space, and various recreational facilities.

The Tree of Life AeroVillage Panheli is situated in the Sahyadri hills and boasts a private airstrip, allowing guests to arrive via a 30-minute chartered flight from Mumbai or Pune. The property is designed to cater to leisure travelers, offering amenities such as nature treks, a 9-hole golf course, a 20-seat private theater, and a multi-sport stadium.

The resort is situated near several regional attractions, including Murud Janjira Fort, Wanjloshi Dam, Deoghar Waterfalls, and Raigad Fort. Nearby beaches such as Diveagar and Shrivardhan, as well as the Gandharpale Buddhist Caves, are accessible by car.

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Maharashtra will include 54 hotels, 27 of which are currently under development.
