The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced the development of a new Vivanta-branded hotel in Mysuru, Karnataka. This greenfield project is part of IHCL’s expansion strategy in culturally rich and economically growing regions.

Located near the Hebbal Industrial Area, the upcoming Vivanta hotel in Mysuru will feature 115 guest rooms. The property is designed to cater to business and leisure travelers, offering facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a fully equipped gym, and a swimming pool. Additionally, the hotel will provide spaces suitable for meetings and social events.

Mysuru, known for its historical significance and cultural heritage, is a growing urban center that benefits from enhanced connectivity, such as the recently completed Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway. This infrastructure improvement has boosted the region’s travel and tourism sector, making it an attractive location for new hospitality investments.

The collaboration with Farah Group, a local real estate developer, marks a significant step in bringing the Vivanta brand to Mysuru. This partnership aims to address the city’s increasing hospitality needs.

With the addition of this new hotel, IHCL will operate 26 hotels in Karnataka, including 12 properties currently under development.

The Vivanta hotel in Mysuru is expected to play a crucial role in catering to the rising number of visitors to the city, which is famous for attractions such as the Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hills, and Brindavan Gardens.
