The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Tree of Life resort in Sakaleshpur, Karnataka.

IHCL has entered into an agreement to develop a Tree of Life resort in Sakaleshpur, Karnataka. The facility will feature 40 keys and is positioned in the Western Ghats, a region known for its natural landscapes. The resort will include amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a treatment room, and a yoga space. Additionally, the resort will offer curated experiences for guests seeking nature and tranquility.

The project partnership is with Mystica Retreats LLP. The resort’s location in Sakaleshpur provides access to various local attractions, including Manjarabad Fort, Kaginahare Fort, Bisle Ghat Viewpoint, Jenukal Gudda, and the Kaginahare Forest ruins. These sites are popular for trekking, heritage, and plantation tourism.

This development is part of IHCL’s strategy to expand its presence in Karnataka. With the addition of this resort, IHCL will operate 34 hotels in the state, 19 of which are currently under development. The new resort is designed to meet growing demand for experiential, boutique stays in the region, which is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourism.
