IHG Hotels & Resorts and Fullon Hotels & Resorts have signed an agreement to introduce the HUALUXE brand to Taiwan with the opening of HUALUXE Taipei in 2026. The 199-room hotel will be located in Taipei’s Dalongdong area, next to Yuanshan MRT Station, near cultural landmarks such as Taipei Confucius Temple, Dalongdong Baoan Temple, and Dadaocheng. The property will be surrounded by heritage architecture and neighborhood life, offering direct connections to various parts of the city.
The signing builds on the partners’ previous collaboration on voco Chiayi and reflects IHG’s ongoing expansion in Taiwan. Since entering the market with Holiday Inn Express Taoyuan in 2008, IHG has grown to 17 open hotels across eight brands in Taiwan, spanning Luxury & Lifestyle, Premium, and Essentials categories.
Launched in 2012, the HUALUXE brand has 27 open hotels and 20 in the pipeline globally as of the first quarter of 2026. The addition of HUALUXE Taipei is part of the brand’s continued expansion into new markets.
