IHG Hotels & Resorts has appointed Wei Manfredi as Senior Vice President of AI and Architecture to oversee the company’s artificial intelligence strategy and technology architecture.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has named Wei Manfredi as Senior Vice President of AI and Architecture, effective January 13, 2026. In this newly created role, Manfredi will be responsible for guiding the company’s artificial intelligence strategy, strengthening technical and data architecture, and managing partnerships with technology organizations.

Manfredi’s appointment is part of IHG’s ongoing investment in technology, which includes recent initiatives such as the rollout of a new Revenue Management System to more than 6,700 hotels globally and the launch of a new Property Management System in 2,000 hotels. The company has also implemented machine translation across more than 20 brands and expanded AI-powered automation.

Manfredi’s previous experience includes roles at McDonald’s, Google Cloud, Lululemon, and Visa, as well as advisory positions with technology boards. She was recognized as a leading figure in artificial intelligence in 2026.

IHG’s technology strategy aims to deliver operational efficiencies and support for hotel owners, as well as enhanced digital solutions for guests and teams. The company’s recent technology milestones also include the development of the IHG One Rewards app, which provides digital services for guests.

The appointment of Manfredi is intended to further develop IHG’s use of AI and data systems, with a focus on operational security and responsible implementation. No additional details regarding the timeline for new technology initiatives were disclosed.
