IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection brand has announced that it has surpassed 50 open and pipeline properties. The announcement comes three years after the brand’s introduction and marks a significant milestone towards its goal of 100 hotels within a decade.

The Vignette Collection, launched in 2021, curates unique hotels and provides a platform for singular properties to leverage IHG’s global scale and enterprise offering. Jane Mackie, SVP, Global Luxury & Lifestyle and Premium at IHG Hotels & Resorts, lauded the brand’s growth and emphasized its role in supporting independent hotel owners.

The Vignette Collection comprises 19 open global hotels and 34 forthcoming properties, marking the brand’s debut in markets like Japan, Vietnam, and the Maldives. Tom Rowntree, Vice President of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the brand’s commitment to providing unique guest experiences and the potential for future growth.

Among the Vignette Collection properties set to open soon are the CIEL Tower in Dubai, which will be the world’s tallest hotel, the Shanghai Snow World Hotel, offering direct access to ski slopes, and the historic RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka. Also on the list is Noku Maldives, a private villa resort, and Hotel Franciscana, the first branded hotel in Mexico’s historic town of Valladolid.

IHG’s Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio has grown significantly recently, encompassing 6 brands, over 500 hotels, and a pipeline of over 350 hotels.
