IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced a new partnership with Artas Turizm Isletmeciligi Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi for the opening of Crowne Plaza Istanbul West in Turkey. This move underlines IHG’s strong growth momentum in Turkey and demonstrates the company’s commitment to the market.
The Crowne Plaza brand has grown steadily in popularity and reputation, becoming a favorite among corporate and leisure travelers. The signing of Crowne Plaza Istanbul West positions Turkey as a key destination, reinforcing the country’s growing appeal to travelers.
In response to this demand, IHG is strategically expanding its portfolio across all brand segments in Turkey. With the trust in IHG’s brands to provide lasting value to guests and owners, the company has recently boosted its presence by signing its first Garner Hotel and the Vignette Collection in Istanbul.
The new Crowne Plaza Istanbul West primarily targets international and domestic business travelers. The hotel’s strategic location is within a short drive from key business and industrial centers like the Tuyap Exhibition and Fair Centre, Ambarli Port, and the Beylikduzu Industrial Zone. It is also close to Buyukcekmece Beach, providing guests a balance of business and leisure.
The hotel will feature a wellness center with a spa and fitness room, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, and several meeting and event spaces, making it ideal for social gatherings and corporate events.

Currently, IHG Hotels & Resorts operates 33 hotels across five brands in Turkey, including 13 Crowne Plaza properties. Crowne Plaza Istanbul West will be the 9th Crowne Plaza in Istanbul, with 17 more in development across Europe and 140 worldwide.
