IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Grupo Presidente, is progressing with the development of the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City Miyana, scheduled to open in the second half of 2026. The hotel will be located in Nuevo Polanco, within the Miyana real estate development, near major corporate offices, museums, and shopping centers.
The property will span nine levels of a 25-story mixed-use tower and feature 184 rooms. Amenities will include an Italian specialty restaurant, a lobby bar, a gym, and a Club InterContinental Lounge. Meeting and event spaces will be available, including an auditorium with a capacity of 300 and a terrace accommodating approximately 250 guests.
InterContinental Presidente Mexico City Miyana is designed to integrate with the residential and commercial elements of the Miyana development, serving both business and leisure travelers in the district.
IHG Hotels & Resorts and Grupo Presidente’s partnership in Mexico includes seven InterContinental hotels and eight additional properties under different IHG brands. The new hotel is part of IHG’s ongoing expansion of its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the country.
The InterContinental brand has a global portfolio of nearly 350 properties in operation and under development as of the first quarter of 2026. The new hotel will add to the existing InterContinental Presidente Mexico City and further strengthen the brand’s presence in the region.
