In a collaborative move with Peninsula Bay Investment Co., Ltd., IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to reintroduce the world’s pioneer international luxury hotel brand, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, to Cambodia. The launch of InterContinental Sihanoukville, slated for 2028, aims to augment Cambodia’s growing prominence as a luxury travel destination.

The 300-room hotel will be located within the Peninsula Bay Integrated Resort development, a comprehensive project featuring several hotels, retail outlets, and entertainment facilities. Spanning roughly 160,000 square meters, the resort will merge modern design with traditional culture, with architecture inspired by the dragon symbolizing good fortune and strength.

The upcoming hotel, situated 30 minutes from Sihanoukville International Airport, will offer convenient access to popular attractions, including Otres Beach, Ream National Park, and Wat Leu Pagoda Temple. Catering to a broad spectrum of visitors, the hotel will feature dining venues, bespoke bars, a luxury spa, and exquisite coastal views.
