Elordi appears to be back with his longtime on-again, off-again girlfriend, influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, whom he was first linked to in December 2021. But it’s unclear whether they’re really back together or just seeing each other on occasion: In early 2026, after the couple was spotted attending a screening of Frankensteinin New York City, a source told Us Weekly that the pair “aren’t putting a label on [their relationship] or seriously dating. There are still strong feelings between them, and they do enjoy their time when they get to see each other.”

The two have been intermittently dating for more than four years now, since December 2021.

What happened with Jacob Elordi and Joey King?
Elordi and his The Kissing Booth co-star Joey King dated for about a year, after meeting on the set of the movie in 2017. “It helps to have somebody by your side, cheering you on, who knows what you’re going through and who’s been through it themselves,” King said of dating a fellow actor at the time.
The pair never publicly explained their split, but they weren’t apart for long—they had to reunite onscreen for the sequel. “No one’s thinking to themselves, That was easy, because it wasn’t,” King said. “I’m sure people will analyze every movement and every detail. And you know what? Let them.”
Despite any on-set discomfort, King told Howard Stern in 2020 that she had no regrets about dating Elordi. “I learned the most I’ve ever learned in my life from him,” she said. But when asked if she would ever date another actor, she offered an emphatic no. “I couldn’t,” she said. “I think that it’s awesome to date someone in your field, who gets it, but doing the same exact thing as somebody is tough. It’s really tough.”
Three years later, the exes butted heads after Elordi knocked the Kissing Booth franchise in an interview with GQ. “I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies,” he said. “Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape.”
King shot back at her ex in a chat with Variety. “I think it’s unfortunate anyone would feel that way,” she said. “I had a great time making those movies no matter what anyone says.”

Did Jacob Elordi date Zendaya?
Unclear. Romance rumors started heating up in August 2019, when the two were reportedly spotted vacationing in Greece, but neither ever publicly confirmed they were dating.
In December 2019, Elordi suggested that he and Zendaya were just friends. “She’s like my sister,” he told GQ Australia. “Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us.”
The following February, though, they were snapped together in New York City, with Elordi planting an affectionate kiss on the side of Zendaya’s head.

The two had a strong start to their relationship, first sharing a meal at Nobu in Malibu in September 2020, then vacationing together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico that same month—with Gerber’s parents.
Though the couple kept their relationship mostly to themselves, Gerber did offer some insight into their romance in a June 2021 interview with Vogue.
