The Bold and the Beautiful star and Daytime Emmy Winner Jacqueline MacInnes Wood left the series earlier this year when the actress went on maternity leave, but now fans have been given their first look at the actress back on set.
Supervising Producer Casey Kaspryzk took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to announce the return along with an accompanying photo of the SINN (Steffy/Finn) family.
Kaspryzk captioned his post, “Excited to have Jacqueline MacInnes Wood back on set and taping her first scenes at our new studio!”

What’s Next for Steffy?
Wood’s return storyline was teased yesterday, as Parade previously reported, as Luna (Lisa Yamada) instigates a scandalous plan involving Will (Crew Morrow) that sends shockwaves through both the Forrester and Spencer families, significantly impacting the lives of Electra (Laneya Grace), Bill (Don Diamont), Katie (Heather Tom), Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), Li (Naomi Matsuda), as well as soulmates Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Fans Celebrate Her Return
Fans quickly took to Kaspryzk’s mentions flooding the producer with responses. One user wrote, “Always great to have the wonderful JMW back on B&B with Tanner and those adorable kids.” A second user said, “I knew it Jaqueline is coming back after taking a care baby. Who is Steffy Forrester
Steffy Forrester, named after her grandmother Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), is the daughter of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). She is married to John “Finn” Finnegan and has two kids. Kelly Spencer with her ex-husband Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hayes Finnegan (with Finn). She is also stepmother to Luna Nozawa.
Steffy is an established business woman who has on numerous occasions run her grandfather’s fashion house, Forrester Creations.
Wood’s assumed the role of Steffy in 2008 and has played her on and off since. For her portrayal of Steffy Wood’s has received four daytime Emmys and is nominated once again in the 2025 ceremony.
Wood’s return will air later this fall as The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and streams weeknights on Paramount+.
