The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton, has appointed Jake Rodriguez as general manager.
Rodriguez will oversee day-to-day operations, guest experience and the resort team across 318 guest rooms and suites and 90,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The appointment comes as the resort enters its 50th anniversary year in Scottsdale.
Rodriguez joins The Scottsdale Resort & Spa after nearly five years with Driftwood Hospitality Management, where he held leadership roles in sales and operations. Before joining the Scottsdale property, he served for two years as general manager of Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown.
He previously served as area director of sales for Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix Tempe. During his career, Rodriguez opened two hotels and managed two hotel conversions as general manager and operations director.
Rodriguez received Director of Sales of the Year recognition from Remington Hotels and Sales Leader of the Year recognition from Driftwood Hospitality Management.
Rodriguez is a Phoenix native. He spends time with his wife and two sons and enjoys golf and outdoor activities.
