Actor Jamie Foxx is recovering from “medical complications,” his daughter Corinne Foxx said.
The Oscar winner was hospitalized in Atlanta, where he was filming a new comedy with actress Cameron Diaz.
“I wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced complications yesterday. Fortunately, with swift action and meticulous care, he is already on the road to recovery,” Corinne Fox said. in a statement on behalf of the Fox family on Instagram late Wednesday.
“We know how much he is loved and appreciate your prayers. The family is requesting privacy during this time.”
She did not share further details.
Foxx, 55, is known for movies like ‘Ray’, ‘Collateral’ and ‘Django Unchained’.
