Jana Duggar is easing into life as a new mom—and taking her followers along for some of the first big moments.
The Counting On alum shared a new video on InstagramMonday, February 9, showing her 5-week-old son, Archie Gerald Wissmann, making his first trip to meet members of the Duggar family, including grandmaMichelle Duggar.
The clip, captioned “Archie’s first road trip to meet the family!” captures moments from their trip, including scenes with Archie being passed from one set of arms to another, with several of Jana’s siblings taking turns holding the newborn.
Michelle also appears briefly in the video, gently rubbing Archie’s back while another family member cradles him. The moment marked a rare public appearance from the Duggar matriarch, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
“So glad everyone was there to meet him,” one person wrote in the comments.
Another shared, “So sweet! Good to see so much of the family loving on him.”
A third stated, “You’re mom must be beaming for you. She knew how much being a mom meant and now you are in it! “

The visit comes just weeks after Jana and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, publicly announced their son’s arrival. In late January, the couple revealed they welcomed Archie on December 30, 2025, explaining that they took time to adjust before sharing the news.
“We took some time to settle into our new rhythm before sharing this sweet news 🤍 Archie Gerald Wissmann arrived on December 30, 2025, and our hearts have been completely changed,” they wrote. “We’re soaking in these early days, full of love, wonder, and so much gratitude.”
Jana first confirmed her pregnancy in August 2025, exactly one year after she and Wissmann tied the knot in August 2024. At the time, the couple shared their excitement about becoming parents, writing, “We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
