Welcome to your weekly look-ahead at everything set to arrive on Netflix in the United States over the next seven days. Netflix’s second wave of video podcasts arrives this week alongside one of the biggest series of 2026 for Netflix’s Original slate and the kicking off of a new deal with Universal Pictures. Here’s everything coming up on Netflix between January 26th and the first of February.

On the removal front, there’ll be a lot of turnover, as always, come the first of the month, with lots of movies set to expire. Elsewhere, today is your last chance to watch the quaint British movie Wicked Little Letters before it departs, and sadly, you’ve only got a couple of days left to watch The Lazarus Project. The sci-fi series is definitely worth a last-minute binge if you can squeeze it in.

As we enter the new month, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with all the new movie and series releases planned for February 2026. We just updated our post again this morning with a number of newly confirmed titles coming up throughout the month.

What to Watch on Netflix This Week

Megan 2.0

Added to Netflix: Monday

Kicking off a new era of Universal movies coming to Netflix promptly after their initial theatrical run and short Peacock debut today is Megan 2.0, soon to be joined by Jurassic World, Honey Don’t, and How to Train Your Dragon

It’s a strange movie to kick off with, given that Megan 2.0 was not divisive per se, but certainly a headscratcher and even a head turner. Rewind a few years, and the horror movie from Blumhouse became an instant success, and for the sequel, a lot got changed, including the genre the movie even sat in. That new formula, it turns out, was not a big hit with audiences, and the movie became one of the most notable box-office bombs of the year. Despite all that, I gave it a watch earlier this month in anticipation of its Netflix debut, and I’ve gotta say, I still enjoyed it, sue me!

Ex Machina (2014)

Coming to Netflix: Sunday

Sticking with the robot theme for our second pick, we come to Ex Machina, which I not only enjoyed but still absolutely love to this day, and it’s finding new relevance ala Black Mirror given how it seems to be slowly merging into our reality. Released 12 years ago, the movie follows a company man who is invited up to his boss’s retreat to test a project he’s been working on, a fully autonomous AI robot.

It’s extraordinarily well acted with Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, and Alicia Vikander delivering knockout performances, and it still looks incredible to this day.

Bridgerton (Season 4 – Volume 1)

Coming to Netflix: Thursday

Netflix’s biggest series of January has undoubtedly been saved till the last week. Yes, it’s the return of Bridgerton, which is arguably Netflix’s third-largest English-language series franchise, and it’s back for another two-parter, with volume 2 of the lineup for late February 2026.

Season 4, as you may know, moves on from the Polin era of Bridgerton and heads into its Cinderella era, with two new leads at the forefront and the story focusing on Benedict and Sophie Baek.

The official logline for this season reads, “The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”
