WhenJason Aldean isn’t busy being a big-time country music star, he’s at home being a dad — and, apparently, a dentist — to his two younger kids, daughter Navyand son Memphis, whom he shares with his wife, Brittany Aldean.
He proved that on Wednesday (July 23) evening, arriving home and quickly setting out to assist six-year-old Navy with her very first loose tooth. Using his bare hands, the “Let Your Boys Be Country” crooner helped release the chomper from his child’s mouth.
“They waited for me to get home,” Aldean wrote across a video in his Instagram stories, sharing the special daddy/daughter moment with his 4.5 million followers.
In the adorable clip, Aldean, who is also a loving father to his two older children, Keeley and Kendyl, from a previous marriage, can be seen matching his youngest daughter’s height while sitting down on the floor as he tells Navy to “Relax. Relax.” Brittany, who was also on hand to make sure everything went smoothly, comforted little Navy with a few mommy kisses.
“I’m just really excited,” Navy exclaimed before Aldean used a clean tissue to gently pull away the baby tooth.
Realizing her dad was successful in his process, Navy screamed at the uncomfortable feeling of having her milk tooth pulled out.
“Ahhhh,” she cried out before cupping her face with her hands.
Memphis, 7, who appeared in the shot afterward, then responded to his little sister’s reaction, saying, “I told you it was gonna hurt!”
“Look at this! Show the camera,” Brittany said, ushering Navy to show off her bravery to the world. “My baby’s first tooth.”
Luckily, the pain of losing her first tooth did come with an award, as Navy already received a visit from the tooth fairy. In a separate Reel on Brittany’s Instagram, the proud momma shared a snapshot of Navy holding up a five-dollar bill, with the words, “The tooth fairy came!” spread across the picture.
News of Navy’s baby tooth situation comes after the Aldeans recently showcased their love for Memphis, sharing a video on Instagram of them spending time with their son next to a hospital bedside, and revealing their boy had suffered a fractured collarbone. Judging by the latest videos, it’s clear Memphis’ injury is healing just fine!
