Jason Kelce is celebrating “an honor of the highest magnitude” after discovering, after a whopping 800 episodes, that he’s finally earned a nod on The Simpsons.

The Eagles legend marked the moment on social media after a fan brought it to his attention, sharing a cell phone recording of their television from this week’s broadcast.

The brief clip showed Marge uncrumpling a balled up list of “Awesome Things for Me to Do in Philadelphia,” which involved taste-testing a lot of local delicacies: cheesesteaks, hoagies, pretzels, and water ice. But, it also included “rip[ping] off a piece of Jason Kelce’s beard,” which, thankfully, Marge seemed as equally affronted by as we did, calling the list a “dirtbag tour of the city.”

Kelce Will Need To Be on the Lookout Now That Beard-Ripping Is on the Table

“Don’t let Homer get a piece of your beard,” the original poster quipped on X when they alerted the pro-athlete to the mention.

“Wait really?” he replied in shock, marvelling, “I’ve been bestowed an honor of the highest magnitude,” after the clip was sent as proof.

Fans were equally as excited for the Eagles legend as he was, with one replying, “Omg no way Jason you’re now part of Simpson’s royalty🫡🫡🫡.”

Another called it “an ELITE club” to be “Simpsons famous,” with another affirming, “You know you have made it when The Simpsons references you. Congrats sir.”

“It’s an honor until every person you meet grabs you by those beard hairs. 😂,” someone else countered, as another warned, “Keep your guard up, someone is bound to try to rip some of your beard off.”

Kelce and the Show’s Team Both Have Reasons to Celebrate the Latest Episode

The Simpsons, which has been on the air since 1989, officially hit 800 episodes with its latest airing.

Voice actress Yeardley Smithcelebrated the occasion with Homer’s favorite snack, a plate of delectable, sprinkled pink donuts.

“Tonight, we celebrate 8️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ episodes of @TheSimpsons with donuts and deepest appreciation for each and every one of you who has watched and loved our show over the years,” she wrote on X. “We couldn’t have done it without you. xoxo 🍩💛🙏🎉.”
