As the Washington Commanders prepare to face the Detroit Lions this Saturday, fans are eagerly grabbing up the latest team swag — T-shirts, hats, hoodies, and jerseys — to show their support.

But one fan, in particular, is making sure her game day attire is as unique as her bond with the team’s rookie phenom.

Momma 5, Jayden Daniels’ proud mom

The backstory:

Regina Jackson, better known as “Momma 5” and the proud mother of Commanders star Jayden Daniels, entrusted Shooters Sports in Maryland to create a custom jacket to celebrate her son’s NFL success.

“She wanted something special, something different that no one else had,” said Shooters Sports owner Robert George. “She asked for ‘Momma 5’ on it to represent Jayden and herself, and we went to work.”

The Shooters Sports team took creative liberty with the design, crafting a blinged-out jacket adorned with rhinestones that spelled out “Momma 5” in style.

“I kept it simple but added the rhinestones to make it stand out,” George said. “It’s exactly what she wanted.”

How long did the jacket take to make?

Timeline:

The custom jacket took about a week to complete and was delivered Tuesday, just in time for Saturday’s game. As a surprise, Jackson was also gifted an extra jacket and a sweatsuit from the team at Shooters Sports.

“She saw the reveal maybe 20 minutes ago, and she was super excited,” George shared at the time. “We made sure no one else can order a ‘Momma 5’ — it’s exclusive to her.”

Jackson is set to cheer on her son in style as the Commanders aim to extend their playoff run.

Fans can catch all the action this Saturday on FOX 5.
