Fans are feeling incredibly proud of Jelly Roll after the country music star’s latest weight loss journey update.

The “Son of a Sinner” singer has been open over the last several months about his attempts to lose weight through healthy eating and exercise. As his nutrition coach, Ian Larios, explained in a video update posted to Jelly Roll’s Instagram account on Monday, Oct. 21, the Grammy-nominated artist just reached a major milestone in his health journey as he hit the halfway point of his Beautifully Broken tour.

“He just surpassed a 100-pound weight loss,” Larios said of his client. Jelly Roll has stayed active on tour by walking around the arenas he’s scheduled to perform in before shows, playing basketball and boxing. Additionally, Larios said the 39-year-old country singer has embraced a high-protein and health-conscious diet, with foods like chicken and bananas playing a large role in his “favorite” meals.

Monday’s video began with a prediction from a determined Jelly Roll, who told fans, “Next year, when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me.” Those who have followed along on his weight loss journey showered him with praise after learning about his 100-pound weight loss achievement.
