The “Save Me” singer had a few billboards placed near Southern California freeways on the way to Indio, where the annual Stagecoach Festival—the country music version of Coachella—was held over the weekend on the grounds of the Empire Polo Fields.
One billboard features a photo of a packaged cut of beef along with the words: “Jelly Roll, 30% Less Fat, Stagecoach Saturday Night, USDA Certified,” referencing the singer’s dramatic weight loss over the last few months.
A second billboard has a photo of Jelly Roll, eyes closed with tears running down his face along with the words “Bet You $20 He Cries,” mocking the singer’s often emotional performances.
Jelly Roll shared pics of the signs on Instagram and his fans and wife had nothing but praise.
“HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA,” responded Jelly’s wife Bunnie XO.
“brilliant marketing 😂,” wrote one fan, while another remarked, “This is f–king hilarious 😂😂😂.”
“It takes a REAL man to show his emotions and I love him for it 🙌❤️,” another one added.
“That’s what I’m talking about. J you are a story.i want to think that our Lord sits close to you, and has given you a glimpse. He has great plans for you. Not to mention all your fans that love you for you. You are the real deal J,” another fan wrote.
