Jeremy Renner shares haunting 911 call of snowplow accident in emotional 1st TV interview – National
In a TV interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC News, Jeremy Renner talks about his first traumatic snowplow accident in January.
Our first peek at the horrifying audio specially shared of the Marvel star moaning in pain in the background of a 911 call after being pulled under a 7-ton snowplow.
When Sawyer asked the 52-year-old Renner how much pain he remembered from the accident, he replied, “Everything.”
“I was awake at every moment.”

Reading a piece of paper, Sawyer rattled off a list of injuries Renner was treated for in the aftermath of the accident.
“8 ribs broken in 14 places. Right knee, right ankle fracture, left foot, tibia fracture, left ankle fracture, right clavicle fracture, right shoulder fracture. Face, eye socket, jaw, mandible broken. Lung collapsed. , pierced through the ribs,” Sawyer said. “It’s scary.”
On New Year’s Day, an accident occurs when Renner tries to dig out his nephew’s car using a snowplow. When the snowplow began to slide backwards toward his nephew, he jumped out of the car and was pulled under.
“I see him in a pool of blood from his head,” Renner’s nephew told Sawyer on an ABC News special.
“I ran to him. I didn’t think he was alive,” added his nephew.

So far, a snippet of the 911 call made before Renner was rushed to the hospital has been released ahead of the special’s release.
“Someone got run over by a snowcat. Hurry up,” says a voice on the phone. “He’s beaten up. There’s blood here.”
“He’s in rough shape,” the person says, with Renner moaning loudly in the background. “Hold your breath, man. Keep fighting.”

Renner was collected the whole time he and Sawyer discussed his injury, but when Sawyer said, “I heard you said ‘I’m sorry’ to your family in sign language,” he teared up a little. was poured.
