Fans of Full House star John Stamos were startled after seeing his latest update on social media, with Stamos sharing a few special throwback photos featuring major musical legends.
The actor shared the update on Instagram on May 1, posting three photos of himself with familiar faces. The first was Stamos with The Beatles member Paul McCartney, the second showed the actor holding his son Billy while standing with Ringo Starr, and the third was a major throwback to a party with David Bowie and Mary Stuart Masterson.

Stamos wrote the simple caption, “TBT Beatles/Bowie/(Masterson).” While the post appeared to be just a good-natured walk down memory lane, some fans were momentarily frightened after seeing the first photo with McCartney, immediately thinking it was a posthumous tribute.
“I was so scared that Paul died, at first,” wrote one fan, with someone replying, “ME TOO 😢 just a little jump scare anytime I see a picture of someone over a certain age.”
A different fan who thought the same thing commented, “Don’t do this to me John.. I thought Paul was dead. And ACTUALLY dead.”
“Don’t scare me like that 😭😭,” said another.
McCartney is currently 82 years old and he appears to be quite healthy, with no reported health issues at this time.
