Universal Hospitality Solutions has announced the appointment of Joseph Jennings as the new general manager of the Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown. Jennings will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, customer experience, and financial performance of the 291-room hotel located in downtown Dallas.

Jennings brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role. Before this appointment, he served as vice president at Q Companies, a Dallas-Fort Worth-based firm that operates multiple hotels and car washes.

Jennings’ career includes various leadership roles in the hospitality sector, where he has managed full-service properties under several well-known hotel brands. His experience spans both onsite and area-level management positions. Throughout his career, Jennings has received several awards for his management skills, including General Manager of the Year and Hotel of the Year. He holds general manager certifications from multiple hotel brands and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Oklahoma.

In addition to his professional roles, Jennings is actively involved in the Dallas-Fort Worth hospitality community. He serves as vice chairman of the board for the Hotel Association of Tarrant County and has held leadership positions with the Arlington Tourism and Public Improvement District. Jennings also participates as a speaker at industry conferences, sharing his expertise in hospitality management.
