Julia Selyukova, who carries nearly 20 years of hospitality leadership experience, has been appointed as the new General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. Having served in several leadership roles within Four Seasons, her holistic vision of luxury hospitality is expected to guide one of Central Europe’s iconic hotels into its next phase.
Selyukova started her journey with Four Seasons at the former Four Seasons Hotel Moscow in 2014, where she first served as Director of Sales and then transitioned to Director of Marketing in 2016. She played a key role in the hotel’s success, instrumental in leading the hotel to Russia’s first-ever Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award as Hotel Manager during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Her next assignment was at Four Seasons Hotel Doha, where she led a team of 700 and ensured seamless collaboration across all departments. Selyukova had a significant role in the hotel’s transition phase after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Doha shifted from the global spotlight to its next phase as a premier travel destination.
In her current role at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, Selyukova leads a Forbes Five-Star property and architectural landmark. Her leadership is expected to enhance the hotel’s guest and employee experiences and renowned food and beverage offerings as Budapest continues to grow as a global destination for culture, gastronomy, and international events.

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Selyukova’s career started in television journalism before she found her calling in luxury hospitality. She joined Four Seasons in 2014 after excelling in sales and marketing roles with international brands. Over the years, she has gained a deep understanding of hotel operations, guest engagement, and service innovation.
Known for her collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style, Selyukova champions mentorship and empowerment. She fosters a culture of innovation where every team member is encouraged to redefine excellence.
