Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island has appointed Kai Dieckmann as General Manager. Dieckmann, originally from Bielefeld, Germany, has held leadership roles in the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia prior to this appointment. He will oversee the opening of the resort on Shura Island, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 program.
The resort is located on the eastern tip of Shura Island and is accessible by a 1.2-kilometer overwater bridge, approximately a 25-minute drive from Red Sea International Airport. The property features 149 rooms and suites, as well as 31 resort residences, with design by Foster + Partners.
Guests will have access to Shura Links, Saudi Arabia’s only championship island golf course, and a variety of cultural, land, and marine activities, including diving at the world’s fourth-largest coral reef, stargazing, and snorkeling to view some of the 200 species of marine life endemic to the area.
The property is surrounded by the sea on three sides and includes three pools, including an adults-only area, six restaurants, a spa with a stone-clad hammam, a club with activities for children and teenagers, and a Marine Discovery Centre.
