Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has announced several promotions and new appointments within its Group Sales department.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has implemented a series of leadership changes within its Group Sales department as part of efforts to support national growth and expansion. The company stated that these updates are intended to strengthen its group, meetings, and convention business across the United States, including activities related to its fifth resort in Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Lilly Mitchell has been promoted to National Sales Director. In this expanded role, Mitchell will support strategic growth throughout the greater Washington, D.C. region. She will continue to focus on the Spotsylvania property while also promoting the Kalahari brand nationally with association partners.

Kalahari has also appointed Jeannie Green as Director of Sales for Virginia. According to the company, Green has held previous positions with JW Marriott Las Vegas and the Kessler Collection.

Additionally, Ximena Vera has joined Kalahari’s National Sales Organization as Special Projects Manager, based in Wisconsin Dells. In this position, Vera will assist with the execution of strategic initiatives and provide support to sales teams. The company stated that Vera’s responsibilities include contributing expertise in data and performance insights to help improve collaboration and efficiency across the organization.

The company indicated that these leadership updates are part of its ongoing investment in talent and infrastructure to support its group business nationwide. The announcement referenced continued anticipation around the company’s planned resort in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
