The mayor of Kansas City is officially putting his two cents on Taylor Swift out into the open.
Quinton Lucas took to X the day after the “Mastermind” songstress spent the day at a local children’s hospital, where she visited patients and their families, made TikTok videos with some of the hospital’s current residents, signed merch, and more.

After a local Fox affiliate reported on her afternoon at Children’s Mercy—which occurred just days after she wrapped up her massive Eras Tour in Vancouver—the mayor retweeted the story, sharing his candid opinion on the performer and her time spent in his town.
“There are a lot of things Ms. Swift could do with her day and she chose to spend it making the day unforgettable for kids in Kansas City deserving of our love and support,” he wrote on the social media platform. “Ms. Swift is a remarkably positive impact on our community. Delighted to have her here whenever she comes.”

Lucas’ message was in stark contrast to sentiments from “Dads, Brads and Chads,” who made their opposition to the NFL covering her at Chiefs games known as she supported her beau, Travis Kelce. But it easily matches up with the team’s owner’s opinion.
Clark Hunt, who first met Swift at “one of the many games that she’s attended,” has previously assured fans that the singer is “just as sweet as she can be.”
Her presence also offered the team an unexpected boost in their female audience, which certainly doesn’t hurt.
