Alterra Mountain Company has appointed Kelly Vohs chief executive officer, effective Oct. 19, 2026.

Vohs most recently served as chief executive officer of SafetyCulture, a frontline operations platform used by more than 85,000 organizations and supporting more than 2.5 million frontline workers.

Before joining SafetyCulture, Vohs spent more than a decade leading companies within Blackstone’s portfolio, including as CEO of LivCor.

Earlier in his career, Vohs led operations for BR Guest Hospitality, a New York restaurant group with more than 20 restaurants. He also held leadership roles at the Boca Raton Resort & Club and the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, serving as general manager of both properties. He was the opening general manager of the Conrad Chicago.

His experience includes customer-facing and operational roles across hospitality, real estate and technology.

Vohs served for eight years as a Green Beret with the U.S. Army’s 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, completing four combat deployments.

Vohs and his family will make Denver their home.
