Kerzner International Holdings Limited has assumed management of The Meydan Hotel, a property owned by Dubai Holding. The hotel, situated in Dubai’s Meydan district, is scheduled to undergo enhancements to its rooms and public areas. Reservations for the hotel are now being accepted for early 2026.
The Meydan Hotel is uniquely positioned as the only hotel built into the grandstand of an international horse racetrack. It is situated approximately 15 to 20 minutes from key landmarks and business hubs in Dubai. The hotel features large rooms and suites with balconies, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
The hotel’s updated design aims to serve as a social hub within the Meydan green belt, a growing residential community. The property will offer various amenities, including a 9-hole golf course, padel and tennis courts, and a nightlife scene. The culinary offerings will include Farriers, a Mediterranean restaurant, as well as the Saddle Bar and Tea Lounge located in the Millennium Lobby.
The Meydan Hotel will also offer facilities for events and celebrations, featuring indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate up to 50,000 guests. Additionally, the hotel offers extensive on-site parking.
Kerzner International, known for its presence in Dubai with properties such as Atlantis, The Palm, and One&Only resorts, has added The Meydan Hotel to its Rare Finds portfolio. The management transition aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, which focuses on developing new neighborhoods and enhancing existing ones.
The hotel will be led by Ziad Sleiman, who joined the team in 2024. The management change is part of a broader strategy to enhance the property’s offerings and align with Dubai’s long-term vision for the Meydan district.
