Comedy superstar Kevin Hart is coming to Toronto this summer, performing at the city’s newest outdoor concert venue.

Toronto comedy fans are in for a treat this September, because Kevin Hart will be stopping by the city on his Acting My Age tour, and better yet, he’ll be performing in a more intimate venue than the stadiums and arenas he’s used to in the city.

While Hart, who’s been behind some of the highest-grossing comedy tours of all time, most recently made Toronto audiences chuckle on stage at the Scotiabank Arena, this time around, he’s taking on a venue less than half the size.

On Sept 6, Kevin Hart will be performing at The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium, a new outdoor venue in the heart of York University’s campus that has a capacity of about 9,000 — a far cry from Scotiabank’s nearly 20,000 seats.

Tickets will be on presale through Ticketmaster and The Bowl’s website from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2 until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, before going on general sale Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
