Khloé Kardashian is opening up about a “scary” fever her daughter, True, came down with shortly before Christmas.
After the Good American co-founder was noticeably missing from her family’s Christmas Eve party (hosted by younger sis Kendall Jenner this year), she explained that her absence was for good reason despite feeling “terrible” about not being there.

Instead of posing for merry and bright pictures with the rest of the Kar-Jenner brood, the Hulu star said she was busy taking care of her “sick littles,” whom she welcomed with her ex, Tristan Thompson, and now, we know exactly what that entailed.
In a selfie-style video shared to her Instagram Story on Dec. 26, the 40-year-old shared that her two kiddos were “super sick” in the days leading up to and on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It appears to have started with her 2-year-old son Tatum, who was ill the weekend before the holiday, but now “he’s perfect and great and was great for Christmas Eve and all that.”
Unfortunately, her 6-year-old daughter was not as lucky come the eve of the big winter holiday. Kardashian revealed that True battled a 105-degree fever—dangerous territory according to experts.
“It was really scary,” she said. “It was horrible.”

Come Wednesday, though, she was “starting to feel better” and even made a trip to her grandma Kris Jenner‘s house for Christmas breakfast. True slept for most of the get-together and was isolated in another room, Khloé explained, allowing her youngest to still enjoy the Christmas spirit and time with family.
It wasn’t until the following day that True opened her gifts from Santa as she “just wasn’t in the mood” to do so on Christmas. “And that’s when you know your kid is sick,” she emphasized.
But thankfully, with rest and love from her mom, True is “feeling so much better,” just like her little bro—phew!
