Kingston, Ont. traffic stop leads to drug trafficking charges – Kingston

A traffic stop in Kingston, Ontario has led to a major drug bust.
Police said they pulled over on February 16 near John Counter Boulevard and Montreal Street on the northern edge of the city.
Police say the driver had a small amount of fentanyl in his possession, but a further search revealed 48 grams of carfentanyl, 65 grams of purple fentanyl and 6 grams of meth.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with three counts of possession for trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
