Last year, fans mourned alongside Herbstreit when his treasured dog Ben died after a battle with cancer. Ben had become a familiar, sunny presence on the sidelines, and his absence was deeply felt.

He may be the newest addition to the Herbstreit family, but this goofball already looks ready to take on the field or at least the backyard. Though his adorable four-legged brother Peter didn’t seem to share his enthusiasm for water sports.
