Kissing 11 Women in One Night Isn’t as Fun as It Sounds. Just Ask Harry Jowsey 

Harry Jowsey, 29, is opening up about the hardest part of his search for a wife on Netflix’s Let’s Marry Harry, and it’s not the dating itself, but the fear of hurting the women he’s not choosing.

Jowsey told PEOPLE ahead of the show’s premiere that navigating his connections through kissing multiple women felt genuinely “daunting.” He said the experience got “a little bit scary” once he realized how many feelings were at stake at once.

The Night His Regret Boiled Over

That tension comes to a head in the third episode, titled “Why Do I Keep Kissing Everyone?,” when Jowsey kisses 11 of the 15 remaining women in a single night. In his confessional, he initially frames it as living in the moment, reasoning that marriage is coming soon and this kind of freedom won’t exist again.

But the mood shifts fast. Moments later, in the same confessional, Jowsey covers his face and questions himself, asking why he keeps kissing everyone. He goes further, openly second-guessing his choices and reminding himself that he’s there to find a wife, not to kiss the entire house.

He described the emotional back-and-forth as a constant push and pull between exploring real connections and worrying about the women he might be upsetting along the way.

Why He Takes It So Personally

Amanda Kloots, one of Jowsey’s three confidants on the show alongside Georgia Hassarati and Sonny Henty, told PEOPLE his guilt isn’t for show. She said he genuinely hates hurting people’s feelings and takes real care not to make any of the women feel bad about themselves or their place in the experience. Jowsey didn’t push back when she said directly that he takes it personally.

Despite the emotional weight, Jowsey said the format gave him something dating in public never could: space to focus on marriage without distraction, calling it a “unique experience” he couldn’t have found anywhere else.
