Last captive walruses in Canada moved to new SeaWorld in Abu Dhabi

The remaining three walruses in captivity in Canada have been moved to a new marine park in Abu Dhabi.

SeaWorld says it has acquired the last two walruses from Marineland and a third from the Quebec Aquarium.

Boris and Marineland Smoosi and her baby Koyuk arrived in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, according to the Quebec City Aquarium.

The Québec Aquarium said the move went well and one of the trainers will continue to stay with Boris while he adjusts to his new home.

SeaWorld says its gigantic new indoor park in Abu Dhabi will be built over five floors and will be the first of its kind in the region.
