Omni Hotels & Resorts has promoted Laura Trussel McKoy to the position of Chief Creative Officer, where she will lead the company’s interior design and creative vision efforts.

Omni Hotels & Resorts has announced the promotion of Laura Trussel McKoy to Chief Creative Officer. In her new role, McKoy will oversee the interior design for both renovations and new developments across the company’s portfolio. She will also be responsible for guiding the overall creative vision of the brand.

McKoy joined Omni Hotels & Resorts in 2007 as Director of Interior Design. During her tenure, she advanced to the position of Creative Director and Vice President of Interior Design. She established the Omni Hotels & Resorts Design Studio, an in-house team dedicated to delivering design experiences for the company’s properties.

In her previous roles, McKoy led efforts on various new developments, renovations, and capital improvement projects. Her work has contributed to the design identity of Omni Hotels & Resorts, impacting the brand’s visual and experiential elements.

Before joining Omni, McKoy held design leadership positions at CNL Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, Florida, and BBGM Architects and Interiors in Washington, D.C. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Alabama.
