Rock stars, they’re just like you and me. When they’re home alone, they whip up something to eat in the kitchen. However, some of us have more culinary skills than others. Take KISS singer-guitarist Paul Stanley for example.
The legendary frontman, 73, took to X, formerly Twitter, on May 30 to share his dinner creation, offering the ingredients of his meal along with some encouragement for would-be cooks.

“Home Alone… for dinner. So I made myself poached salmon in a saffron cream sauce with spinach, leeks and mushrooms. Don’t forget the seasonings, garlic, white wine and chicken stock. You can do it! I’m a cook, not a chef,” Stanley posted, along with a photo of his scrumptious meal.
Fans were impressed.
“Damn brother looks like you cook as good as you sing,” wrote one.
“That looks so amazing you could simply lick it up. 🎸,” added another, making a sly reference to the 1983 hit by KISS that also served as the title track of their album released that same year.
“Looks great!Last evening I had vegetable soup, hard-boiled egg and veggie burger, kind of a potpouri of food, as I wrote later than typical into the night,” added another fan.
“Well Paul, you’re so close to be a chef, the dishes that you prepare are so special, grand cuisine, you have a demanding palate,” a fourth fan posted.

Aside from his career rocking with KISS and cooking at home, Stanley is also an accomplished visual artist who displays his work in galleries and archives his paintings on his website.
The last time Stanley made headlines he was simply enjoying a cup of coffee at a Starbucks in Los Angeles, proving yet again, rock stars are just like us, only slightly different.
