Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort has appointed Leslie Weill as General Manager to oversee a multi-phase renovation project.

Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort has named Leslie Weill as its new General Manager. Weill will oversee the ongoing renovation of the 219-room resort, which is scheduled for completion in two phases. The first phase of the renovation was completed in July, unveiling 100 newly renovated guest rooms and suites in the North Tower. The second phase, which includes the remaining 119 guestrooms and suites in the South Tower, is expected to be completed by late 2025.

In addition to the guestroom renovations, the resort will introduce a redesigned 3,000-square-foot pool area and two new food and beverage outlets. These enhancements are part of the resort’s strategy to update its facilities and improve guest experiences.

Weill brings extensive experience in hotel management, having previously served as General Manager at Dua Miami, where she facilitated the property’s transition from the SLS Brand to the Marriott portfolio. Her career includes leadership roles at several hotels, including Moxy South Beach, The Logan in Philadelphia, and The Colonnade in Coral Gables.
