Limelight Mammoth is set to open in late 2025, marking the debut of the Limelight Hotels brand in California with 124 guest rooms, 25 suites, and 15 private residences.
Limelight Mammoth, a new hotel under the Limelight Hotels brand, is scheduled to open in late 2025 in Mammoth Lakes, California. The property will feature 124 guest rooms, 25 suites, and 15 private residences.
The hotel will offer over 8,000 square feet of event space, including the Ridgeline Ballroom with a capacity for 300 guests and the Crystal Lake Boardroom for smaller gatherings. Additional amenities include a lounge and a private club named Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club.
The accommodations will include rooms and suites equipped with modern kitchenettes, custom bathtubs, and gear storage. The 15 private residences will range from two to five bedrooms and include open living spaces, kitchens, laundry rooms, and private elevators.
Dining options at Limelight Mammoth will include the Limelight Lounge, offering wood-fired pizzas, shareable plates, and craft cocktails. The property will also feature a series of musical events under the Limelight Live program and offer bespoke itineraries through Adventure Architects.
Sustainability initiatives at Limelight Mammoth will include the use of efficient heat pumps, an EV fleet with charging stations, and rain and snowmelt management systems. The hotel will incorporate locally sourced materials and design elements to reduce energy use.
The Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club, a private ski and social club, will provide members with access to a lounge, bar, workspaces, terrace, ski valet, private lockers, and direct gondola access. Membership benefits will also include ski passes, parking, and access to a fitness center, pool, and spa.
Limelight Mammoth is part of the Limelight Hotels portfolio, which includes properties in Aspen, Snowmass, Ketchum, and Denver, with upcoming locations in Boulder and Charleston.
