The Love Is Blind alum’s engagement to Love Is Blind UK‘s Ollie Sutherland was revealed in the Season 8 reunion on Sunday, March 9. The couple’s romantic beach proposal was shown following a promo they filmed for the upcoming season of Perfect Match.

“You’re my best friend. You’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you, and nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you,” Ollie told AD, before popping the question.
The pair met on Netflix’s Perfect Match, which returns for its third season this summer. Ollie revealed on the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion that he had been planning the proposal “for months.” The couple’s engagement marks the first time that singles from different editions of Love Is Blind have found love.

Asked by reunion co-host Vanessa Lachey if their time on the franchise had prepared them for this since they “had the common goal of wanting to find that person?”
“I think, yeah, definitely,” Ollie replied. “Even as early on as when we were on Perfect Match, I noticed that we were having the deeper conversations, the more important conversations, talking about shared values and similar outlooks on life.

He continued, “I think that really laid the groundwork and the foundation for the beautiful relationship we have now, and I definitely attribute a lot of that to our experiences on Love Is Blind.”

AD got engaged to Clay Gravesande in Season 6 of Love Is Blind. The pair ended up splitting after Gravesande didn’t say “I do” at the altar.
“I don’t regret saying yes to him [Gravesande]. I mean, my love was blind. There’s nothing that he could’ve shown me, told me, that would’ve changed my answer,” she said in the Season 6 finale. “I don’t see myself continuing to date him. You don’t wanna pick me? Somebody else will. I’m done.”
