Anthony was a complicated character. And God knows: We got tangled up for a moment, as true brothers can. But I loved him and understood him better than I sometimes forgive,” the post said Told.

No details about the death were provided. According to public records, Ciccone recently resided in Michigan, where he and his seven siblings were raised.

In recent years, national news media reported that Ciccone was living on the streets and in rehab facilities. Henry’s post announcing Ciccone’s death gave a difficult nod, stating that “the troubles are gone” and that the family remains and is “reachable” across the table.

Madonna “liked” the post on Instagram, but the pop music star declined to comment.

The Associated Press sent an email to two of Madonna’s representatives seeking more information.
