Mandarin Oriental plans to open a new hotel in Downtown Dubai’s Wasl Tower in October 2025, featuring 259 rooms, 224 residences, and various amenities.

Mandarin Oriental has announced the opening of a new hotel in Downtown Dubai, scheduled for October 2025. The hotel will be located in the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road. This new property will include 259 rooms and suites, as well as 224 residences.

The Wasl Tower is noted for its distinctive architectural design, featuring the region’s tallest ceramic façade and a twisting form that incorporates fins to optimize airflow. The building is designed with energy-efficient technologies to enhance sustainability.

The Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai will feature a spa that combines traditional healing practices with modern wellness technologies. The spa will occupy two floors and offer services focused on nourishment, in-room wellness, beauty, and movement.

Dining options at the hotel will include ten different concepts and bars, offering a variety of cuisines such as French, Chinese, Greek, and Italian. The property will also introduce Mandarin Oriental branded residences for lease, providing a combination of private home comforts and hotel services.

The opening of this new property marks Mandarin Oriental’s second location in Dubai, expanding its presence in the region.
