Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, recently announced the appointment of General Manager Marc Blackford. With over two decades of hospitality leadership, Marc brings extensive experience to Hotel Clio, where he’ll oversee daily operations and lead a team managing nearly 200 guest rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and Toro, a renowned Pan-Latin restaurant by Chef Richard Sandoval.
Prior to joining the team, he served as Director of General Services at Wind Crest, a high-end senior living facility in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. His career spans roles at well-known hospitality companies such as MGM Resorts International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Marriott International, where he gained experience managing properties ranging from intimate boutique hotels to large-scale resorts, including eight years as the Director of Operations at the Westin Downtown Denver.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Aside from his professional endeavors, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring new destinations, sampling diverse cuisines, and indulging in outdoor activities like concerts and golf. A Denver resident for more than two decades, Marc is excited to fully immerse himself in the vibrant Cherry Creek North neighborhood.
