The Marc Hotel, a 175-room property managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, has opened in downtown Milwaukee with direct access to the Baird Center and nearby amenities.
Marcus Hotels & Resorts has announced the official opening of The Marc Hotel, a 175-room independent hotel located in downtown Milwaukee. The property is situated in the city center and is connected to the Baird Center via a climate-controlled skywalk.
The Marc Hotel occupies the former west wing of the Hilton Milwaukee and includes guest rooms and suites, a covered parking garage, and access to more than 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Hotel guests also have access to dining options located in the adjacent Hilton Milwaukee.
The property offers standard rooms and suites equipped with workstations, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini refrigerators, and coffee makers. Bathrooms include marble countertops and mirrors with built-in lighting.
The Marc Hotel’s location places it within walking distance of corporate offices, sports and entertainment venues, dining establishments, and Marquette University. The property aims to serve both convention attendees and other visitors seeking accommodations in downtown Milwaukee.
The opening of The Marc Hotel marks the return of the “Marc” name to the site. The west wing was previously part of the Hilton Milwaukee, which itself was formerly known as the Marc Plaza Hotel following its acquisition by Marcus Corporation in 1972. The property was renamed under the Hilton brand in 1995, and the Marc name has now been reinstated as the west wing reopens as a standalone hotel.
