More than 30 years after Groundhog Dog was released, there’s a chance the iconic film’s two stars could brush shoulders once again.

Margaret Qualley, who is Groundhog Day star Andie MacDowell‘s daughter, appeared on The Tonight Show this week and revealed some juicy details surrounding her mom and the other big name who leads the 1993 comedy: Bill Murray.

In fact — as Qualley, 30, revealed — both MacDowell, 67, and Murray, 74, are available and happen to reside in the same part of South Carolina.

Qualley’s insight all started when she began recounting to host Jimmy Fallon on a run-in with Murray on Thursday, Aug. 14, as Just Jared reported. While she was in her Tonight Show dressing room, the SNL alum swung by to say hello.

“Literally tonight, he pops into my backstage dressing room,” said Qualley. “He’s wearing a Piggly Wiggly shirt. And I grew up in North Carolina, and Piggly Wiggly’s a Southern thing… I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, Piggly Wiggly!’ Then, cut to: I found out he’s living in Charleston. My mom’s living in Charleston…”

This prompted Murray to reveal to Qualley — as the Honey Don’t! star told Fallon, 50 — that he didn’t exactly have the best experience with MacDowell on set of Groundhog Dog, which sees their characters ultimately falling in love by the film’s end.

“I’m gonna give you the tea. He was like, ‘You know, your mom and I, we didn’t get along so good while we were making that movie,'” said Qualley. “And he was like, ‘She took a lot of time to get her hair done, and she didn’t know her lines this one time.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, well, I heard a different story, sir…'”

The Golden Globe-nominated Maid star continued, “I’m putting two and two together — he’s living in Charleston, she’s living in Charleston. They’ve got this kind of rage towards each other, but maybe he’s trying to make amends. And I’m like, she’s single, he’s single. They’re both crazy. Let’s get it together!”
